Class Schedules

Fiction and Memoir Writing (eight-week cycles)
Limited to five participants. $400/eight sessions.

Our core workshop, which brings together novelists, short story
writers, memoirists and other narrative nonfiction writers.
Writers receive detailed critiques of their manuscripts on all elements
of writing, including voice, pace, plot, characterization, dialogue,
setting—and everything else that makes a narrative sing. While there’s
no overt or implied promise of agency representation, the workshop
leaders also offer informed perspectives on the state of the publishing
industry and how to best market and promote each work for acquiring
editors and publishers. Writers should be prepared to submit
portions of their original writings for most workshops.
